Superfoods rich in selenium that prevent cancer, heart attack

Sunflower seeds: They comprise of 19 mcg of selenium, which prevents cancer.

Brazil nuts: Brazil nuts are one of the ideal sources of selenium and it prevents cancer and heart attack.

Whole wheat foods: Wheat products like pasta, whole wheat breads, and whole grain cereals, is highly rich in selenium. 

Eggs: A boiled egg consists of 20 mcg of selenium. 

Cottage cheese: It provides 20 mcg, or 30 per cent of daily requirements of selenium.

Fish: Fish boasts of 92 mcg of selenium, making it a perfect source of selenium. 

Mushrooms: They boast of vital nutrients like vitamin D, iron, and 12 mcg of selenium, which prevents lifestyle diseases.
