Homemade drinks to boost iron levels in summer

Here are some drinks to increase iron and haemoglobin levels.

Amla juice: Daily consumption of amla juice not only enhances immunity but also promotes iron absorption. 

Beetroot kanji: This is an iron-rich fermented beverage formed by infusing mustard seeds and beetroots. 

Sugarcane juice: Sugarcane juice is a rich source of iron and other essential minerals. 

Pomegranate juice: Pomegranate juice is both tasty and nutrient-dense.

Prune Juice: Dried plums, also known as prunes, are a perfect source of plant-based iron.

Green juice: Green juice can also help you boost iron levels in the body due to richness of parsley, pear, spinach and celery.

Spinach and pineapple smoothie: Spinach is a rich iron source which can be combined with pineapple.
