Sonam Kapoor was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 17 and has been managing it well since then. The Bollywood actor has shared 7 tips to control blood sugar naturally

The Neerja actor keeps a special check on her diet and she most consumes diabetes-friendly foods may include- green leafy vegetables, turmeric, eggs, cinnamon and foods high in protein.

Being detected with Type 1 diabetes at an early age, she manages it with doing exercise. The Bollywood actor ensures to exercise atleast 30 minutes on a daily basis. 

Sonam Kapoor keeps her self hydrated as she drinks  plenty of water  which helps her in controlling blood sugar levels.

The Veere Di Wedding actor makes sure that take a proper sleep which helps her in managing blood sugar level naturally.

Sonam limits her sugar intake and avoids red meat. She also refrains from fasting during occasions like Karwa Chauth, as fasting can cause dangerous blood sugar fluctuations.

Sonam is physically active and regularly does Pilates. She also practices cardio and power yoga.
