Diabetes: Summer drinks for maintaining healthy blood sugar levels

Tomato juice has minimal calories and a low glycemic index (GI) index, and is beneficial for diabetics.

Cucumber juice contains lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and is high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Packed with Vitamins A & C, Carrot juice can reduce cholesterol, support blood coagulation and  prevent diabetes.

Broccoli juice aids in digestion and control blood sugar levels,thus preventing diabetes.

Apple and cabbage juice is rich in antioxidants and low on the glycemic index, thus, reducing blood sugar levels. 

Spinach juice is also a good choice for diabetics because it has few carbohydrates. 

Lemonade without sugar is one of the best summer drinks for diabetics.

Coconut water is hydrating, refreshing and has a low glycemic index and very less  sugar content.
