Here are eight dishes commonly prepared during Navratri

A dish made from soaked sabudana, peanuts, potatoes, and spices like cumin seeds and green chilies.

Sabudana Khichdi

Deep-fried bread made from buckwheat flour (kuttu atta), typically served with potato curry or yogurt.

Kuttu Ki Puri

 A sweet pudding made from water singhare ka atta, ghee, sugar, and flavored with cardamom.

Singhare Atte Ka Halwa

Flatbreads made from amaranth flour rajgira atta, often stuffed with mashed potatoes or paneer.

Rajgira Paratha

Boiled potatoes cooked in a simple yet flavorful tempering of cumin seeds, green chilies, and rock salt (sendha namak). 

Vrat wale Aloo

It's similar to regular khichdi but prepared with ingredients allowed during fasting.

Sama Rice Khichdi

Sauteed potatoes seasoned with cumin seeds, green chilies, and rock salt. 

Aloo Jeera

A creamy pudding made from fox nuts (makhana), milk, sugar, and flavored with cardamom and nuts.
