Do pulses eat human flesh? Know here

Vaishali Shastri

It's shocking but there is a pulse that eats human flesh. And this surprising question was even asked in an IAS interview

Some Hindus and vegetarians also avoid eating this pulse

It is again surprising that this pulse is considered healthy and digestible and is given to patients and even children

The question is if this pulse is so healthy then why is it flesh eating?

This pulse is Moong dal. Mung dal (lentil) contains a special type of protein called "proteolytic enzymes".

These enzymes help improve our digestive process.

Their main function is to remove impurities and waste matter from the body, which accumulate excess fat and dead cells.

It refers to its ability to eliminate toxic substances, residual waste, and excess fat accumulated within the body.

This is why mung dal is considered excellent for weight loss and maintaining overall health.
