Hyderabad, one of the busiest metros in the country, is no longer the common capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad was made the common capital of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for 10 years during the division of Andhra Pradesh in 2014.

According to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014, Hyderabad will be the capital of Telangana only from June 2, 2024.

Now the question is what will be the capital of Andhra Pradesh?

No decision has been taken yet regarding which city will be the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Let us tell you that Andhra Pradesh does not have any permanent capital yet. The fight over Amaravati and Visakhapatnam is still going on in the courts.
