After the coup in Bangladesh, many people said that Bangladesh is moving towards Pakistan.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh are Muslim majority countries. 

According to the report of Statista, there were 225.62 million Muslims in Pakistan by the year 2022 i.e. 22.5 crores.

The share of Muslim population in the total population of Pakistan is 96.34 percent.

Whereas, if we talk about Bangladesh, there are 155.38 million Muslims i.e. 15.53 crores.

The Muslim population of Bangladesh is 91 percent of the total population.

Whereas in India there are 211.16 million .
