Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar made an undisclosed investment in Hyderabad-based Azad Engineering, a startup that offers engineering and technology solutions to international OEMs, earlier this year (2023). The former cricket player has also contributed to the launch of Smaash Entertainment, Smartron, Spinny, JetSynthesys, and Unacademy.
