Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar made an undisclosed investment in Hyderabad-based Azad Engineering, a startup that offers engineering and technology solutions to international OEMs, earlier this year (2023). The former cricket player has also contributed to the launch of Smaash Entertainment, Smartron, Spinny, JetSynthesys, and Unacademy.

Gautam Gambhir, a former cricket player, made an undisclosed investment in FYI Health, a health monitoring platform, in 2020. Yash Raj Gupta founded the FYI Health App, which tracks employee health data to help businesses create a safe work environment.
