A phone’s charging is not only important to keep it functioning but how long it is being charged is also important as it impacts the device in many ways.
Many people unknowingly make mistakes while charging that can affect the battery life and performance of the device.
Modern cell phones or smartphones primarily use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
Although these batteries are based on high-tech and their efficiency is unquestionable, they do have some limitations.
If you use your phone until it switches off and then put it on charge, it will negatively affect your phone's battery and performance.
Additionally, if you leave your phone connected to the charger for hours after it reaches 100% charge, it will gradually reduce the battery's capacity.
Not only that, but it can cause the phone to overheat, increasing the risk of the phone exploding. It also affects the phone's performance
Do not leave your phone plugged in for longer than necessary, and make sure to unplug it once it is fully charged.
Although many phones now have systems that stop charging once the battery is full, according to RTÉ, this is not always as reliable as unplugging it yourself.
