The 33rd edition of the Summer Olympic Games is set to commence in Paris, France from July 26.
Ahead of the grand event, here are the Indian-origin athletes who are set to play for other nations.
Rajeev Ram has been a well-known American Tennis player for many years now. He also won a mixed doubles silver medal with Venus Williams at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Born in Denver, USA, Rajeev’s parents migrated from Bengaluru, India.

French table tennis player Prithika Pavade has her roots from India. Her father was born and raised in Puducherry. Her journey with sports began at the age of six. By the time she was 16, she had already represented herself in Tokyo Olympics.

American table tennis player, Kanak Jha is a four-time US National champion. He is an Indian origin player set to play in Paris Olympics. His mother and father were raised in Mumbai and Kolkata respectively.

Singaporean track and field athlete Shanti Pereira is an Indian origin player who has roots from Kerala. Last year, Pereira finally broke Singapore's 49-year-long wait for an Asian Games victory by securing a silver medal in the competition.
