Rishabh Pant became a World Cup champion on June 29 after India beat South Africa by 7 runs in the final of T20 World Cup 2024.
During Pant’s recovery phase from a tragic accident, his diet played a crucial role to help him recover faster.
Jithin Raj, a native of Kochi, has been closely associated with Pant for the past one year to make healthy meal plan for the star player.
Moreover, Jithin was a part of Pant’s personal staff when he made comeback in cricket by leading Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024. Jithin was also there during the recent T20 World Cup 2024 campaign in USA and West Indies.
After school, Jithin pursued degree in Culinary Arts from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
He was later offered a job from Neat Meals, a luxury healthcare meal service that offers fresh and healthy meal services to Bollywood celebrities and cricketers.
According to a report of Onmanorma, Jithin also received the opportunity to be chef of Delhi Capitals. It was then when Pant tasted his food and extremely loved it. Pant also offered Jithin to be his personal chef.
Jithin reveals that Pant remains faithful to his rigorous diet plan. His diet includes high protein and low carbohydrates.
Moreover, Pant is fond of Kerala food. His favourite dishes include traditional Kerala-style chicken curry and crispy appams.
