Indian players to win IPL and T20 World Cup

Pavan Naidu

MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni captained CSK to win five IPL titles (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023). He also led Team India to their first T20 World Cup title in 2007.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma won the 2007 T20 World Cup. He won IPL title in 2009 with Deccan Charges and led Mumbai Indians to record five IPL title win in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.

Piyush Chawla

Piyush Chawla was a part of the Indian squad that won the 2007 T20 World Cup. However, he did not feature in a single game. He won his first IPL title with KKR in 2014.

Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh won the 2007 T20 World Cup trophy and also IPL title twice in 2016 with SRH and 2019 with Mumbai Indians.

Harbhajan Singh

Apart from winning the 2007 T20 World Cup, he has won three IPL titles with MI in 2013, 2015, and 2017 and one with CSK in 2018.

Dinesh Karthik

Karthik was a part of the Indian squad that won the 2007 T20 World Cup title. He won his first IPL title with MI in 2013.

Gautam Gambhir

Before leading KKR to win two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014, he has won the T20 World Cup in 2007 under MS Dhoni’s guidance.

Yusuf Pathan

Interstingly, Yusuf Pathan was the first T20 World Cup winner to win IPL in the maiden season. Under Shane Warne’s captaincy, he won his first IPL title in 2008 with Rajasthan Royals. Later, he joined KKR in 2011, and won two IPL trophies in 2012 and 2014.
