BCCI has finally announced Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team on Tuesday.
Former India opening batter Gautam Gambhir's cricket career has spanned from 2003 -2016. During this stint, he became a two-time World Cup winner and was the leading run-scorer in the 2007 T20 World Cup final.
According to a report of Sportskeeda, Gautam Gambhir's estimated net worth is Rs 205 crore.
As a KKR mentor, Gambhir reportedly earned Rs 25 crore for this IPL season. Before this, he earned Rs 3.5 crore per season as Lucknow Super Giants' mentor.
After retiring from cricket, Gambhir joined politics in 2019. On a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket, he won the Lok Sabha constituency of East Delhi in 2019.
Gambhir also became a cricket commentator where he earned an annual income of around Rs 1.5 crore.
Gambhir lives in a luxurious house in Delhi worth Rs 20 crore and is also the owners of two other properties in the national capital.
Moreover, he has a collection of luxury cars which include Audi Q5, BMW 530D, Toyota Corolla, and a Mahindra Bolero Stinger.
