IPL Auction 2025: List of top players who remained unsold

The IPL Auction 2025 was concluded at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah on Monday, November 25.

A total of 182 players were sold across two days with a whopping Rs 639.15 crore spent by the ten franchises.

Here are some of the top players who remained unsold.

David Warner who led SRH to win the 2016 IPL title surprisingly went unsold at his base price of Rs 2 crore. He is the fouth highest run-getter in IPL history with 6565 runs.

Prithvi Shaw's failure to attract any bids from franchises came as a surprise to many. Once regarded as a dynamic opening batter, Shaw went unsold at the IPL auction, despite having a base price of Rs 75 lakh.

Jonny Bairstow, renowned for his aggressive batting style, also failed to grab any bids at the IPL Auction 2025.

Shardul Thakur, known for his all-round skills showcased in the IPL, went unsold despite having a base price of Rs 2 crore.

Mustafizur Rahman who played a crucial role in helping Sunrisers Hyderabad win the IPL title in 2016, went unsold in the auction. Mustafizur who had a strong performance for CSK last season, taking 14 wickets in nine matches, yet failed to attract any bids.
