Indian players to play 200 matches in ODI and IPL

MS Dhoni is one of only four Indian players to have participated in 200 ODIs and IPL matches. Dhoni concluded his international career with a total of 350 ODI appearances.

Dhoni has participated in 263 IPL matches, making him the most experienced player in the T20 league.

Virat Kohli ranks second on the list, having played 292 ODIs and nearing the milestone of 300 matches.

Virat Kohli has participated in 250 IPL matches to date. He commenced his IPL journey with RCB in 2008 and remains a key player for the team.

Suresh Raina has played 226 ODIs and 205 IPL matches. He enjoyed a successful career representing Team India and was a key member of the 2011 World Cup-winning squad.

Raina began his IPL career with the Chennai Super Kings and enjoyed a successful tenure with the team.

Raina also played for the Gujarat Lions, where he served as the captain of the franchise during the IPL seasons of 2016 and 2017.

Rohit Sharma, who made his ODI debut in 2007, has since participated in a total of 262 ODIs.

Rohit commenced his IPL career with the Deccan Chargers, representing them from 2008 to 2010. Subsequently, he transitioned to the Mumbai Indians during the IPL 2011 mega-auction.

Rohit led MI to victory in five IPL championships during his tenure as captain. However, he was relieved of his captaincy duties prior to the IPL 2024 season.
