Ahead of IPL 2024, here's the list of batters who scored most runs in a single over in the tournament's history.

Chris Gayle (RCB) - 36 runs (4 sixes and 3 fours) vs KTK in IPL 2011

Ravindra Jadeja (CSK) - 36 runs (5 sixes, 1 four and a double) vs RCB in IPL 2021

Pat Cummins (KKR) - 34 runs (4 sixes, 2 fours and a double) vs MI in IPL 2022

Suresh Raina (CSK) - 32 runs (5 fours and two sixes) vs KXIP in IPL 2014

Meanwhile, CSK will take on RCB in the first match of IPL 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on Friday.
