Balanced Diet: Eat a diet rich in iodine, selenium, and zinc for optimal thyroid function. 

Regular exercise and weight management: Engage in regular physical activity for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. 

Vitamin D-rich diet: Vitamin D food also regulates thyroid function. 

Limit processed and junk foods: Avoid excessive consumption of white bread, pasta, bacon, and sausages.

Adequate sleep: Take quality sleep per night to support hormonal balance, including thyroid hormones.

Avoid Goitrogens: Foods like soy, cabbage, and broccoli may hamper thyroid function.

Stop smoking: Research shows that smoking hampers normal thyroid function. 

Avoid excessive Iodine: Consume iodised salts in moderation, and avoid excessive consumption of iodine supplements.
