Satish Kaushik's family life was fraught with tragedy, became father at the age of 56

The whole cinema fraternity was jolted as Satish Kaushik, a renowned actor and director, passed away suddenly at the age of 66 on Thursday morning. 

Satish Kaushik and his small family resided in Mumbai. He left behind his wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika after departure from this world.

Satish Kaushik loved his daughter Vanshika dearly and frequently posted sneak peeks of his family on social media after becoming a parent at the age of 56.

After losing his 2-year-old son, Satish Kaushik hasn't had any children. In 2012, he was blessed with his daughter Vanshika.

Satish Kaushik made the decision to have a child again, and daughter Vanshika was born via surrogacy. Satish shared a lovely post on  Vanshika Kaushik's 10th birthday with a picture of him and her.
