Chocolate milk
Eggs and whole-grain toast
Fruits and vegetables smoothie
Dried fruit and nuts
Yogurt, berries and a sprinkling of granola
Avoid pure protein post-workout, because your body will utilize it as energy again.
Also, avoid foods that are high in sugar (cookies, candy, etc) or fried foods.
