Diabetes: Seeds and nuts to reduce blood sugar quickly

Almonds: They are rich in magnesium and lower the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Walnuts: Walnuts are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, proteins and phytonutrients.

Pistachios: Pistachios are rich in protein, carbohydrate and fibre and reduce blood sugar levels.

Flaxseeds: Loaded with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, they reduce blood sugar levels.

Pumpkin Seeds: They are rich in iron and unsaturated fats that promote insulin regulation.

Sunflower Seeds: They are loaded with vitamin B-1, vitamin E, copper, antioxidants, protein and fibre - all of which regulate blood sugar levels. 

Methi Seeds: Also known as fenugreek seeds, they are excellent for diabetics.
