Pune man wanted to earn Rs 50, loses 1 cr

A retired army man in Pune lost Rs 1 crore to cyber fraud. 

The fraudsters claimed they will pay him Rs 50 per click on their YouTube videos. 

They said he would to furnish his bank details. He was also made to join a phone messenger group.

He was first asked to pay Rs 1000. To earn his trust, they gave him Rs 4000 back. 

They later added him to a VIP group. They then tricked into paying Rs 1.1 crore in 26 transactions.
