Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, (January 27, 2025) took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam at the ongoing Mahakumbh mela at Prayagraj.
He was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and seers were present as he performed a ritual bath at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers in Kumbh city.
Shah also performed aarti at the Triveni Sangam. He was accompanied by his son Jay Shah.
Earlier, UP CM Yogi took the holy dip along with seers at the ongoing Maha Kumbh mela.
Mukesh Ambani's brother and industrialist Anil Ambani recently arrived at Prayagraj to take the holy dip in the ongoing Mahakumbh.
Anil was accompanied by his wife and yesteryear actress Tina Ambani.
Among other big names, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav took a holy dip in sacred Sangam on the occasion of Maha Kumbh.
Actor Anupam Kher was among the Bollywood celebrities, who also took the holy dip in the sacred Mahakumbh.
