AI reimagines Dune as 80s' Bollywood masala film

Dennis Villeneuve’s Dune is one of the biggest and most followed Hollywood franchises

But new concept art reimagines the epic space opera as a Bollywood film from the 80s

New images, created using AI tool MidJourney imagines Dune as a 1986 Bollywood film

The reimaginations include very Indian-looking Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya

And also some notably ethnic touch to the other-worldly attire of Arrakis

The palaces and locales have also been suitably Bollywoodised in the images

While the villains get a somewhat Amrish Puri-like over-the-top treatment

But the giant sandworm evades any major changes in form or ‘attire’
