Salman's bad luck with Diwali continued as Shrish Kunder-directed love drama, Jaan-E-Mann tanked at the box office, despite positive critical reception

Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2009)

This movie was released on Diwali, freshly after Salman's blockbuster Wanted, and it was expected to do great at the box office. But this romantic drama failed to impress the audiences

Salman did earned moolah during Diwali and the two biggest examples are Karan Arjun (1995) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Both movies were Diwali releases, and it set new box office records
