Who is NTA chairman, check his educational qualification

NTA conducts various exams including NEET. The agency under Education Ministry is headed by Pradeep Kumar Joshi.

He was appointed as NTA chairman in August 2023 for 3 years.

Before this, he was chairman of UPSC which conducts civil services exam.

Prof. Joshi belongs to Uttarakhand but he studied in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

He earned his Post Graduate Degree in Commerce in 1977 from Kanpur University,

Later, he also did a Ph.D. degree in Commerce in 1981 from the same university.

He started his career as a teacher when he joined the commerce department of Bareilly College, UP.

Professor Joshi has been in the field of education for more than 30 years.

Professor Joshi has been a member of various national and state-level committees under GOI.
