The third edition of the ‘QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025’ was released earlier today with a total of 78 Indian universities featuring on the list.
1. IIT, Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, leads the QS rankings, with its global rank being 171 against 426 previously.
2. IIT, Kharagpur: IIT Kharagpur closely follows IIT Delhi, with its global ranking being 202.
3. IIT, Bombay: IIT Bombay is the third Indian university to feature in the QS World Rankings. Its global ranking stands at 234.
4. IIT, Kanpur: IIT Kanpur closely follows IIT Bombay with rank 245.
5. IIT, Madras: The global ranking of IIT Madras is 277 against 344 last year.
6. University of Delhi (DU): The global ranking of Delhi University has seen a decline from 220 to 299 this year.
