Know how to check Aadhaar card, PAN card linking status online

STEP 1:

Visit the income tax e-filing website and create an account. Your Permanent Account Number will serve as your user id.

STEP 2:

Use your PAN, birthdate, and password to log in.

STEP 3:

A pop-up window relating to your PAN-Aadhaar link will appear. If it's not there, you can select "Link Aadhaar" from the menu.

STEP 4:

Check to see if the information on your PAN and Aadhaar matches. If there is a discrepancy, you must update your information.

STEP 5:

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and press the "link now" button if everything is in order.
